Excellent experience from start to finish. The team was very thorough with the brake repair, clearly explained what was needed, and communicated throughout the process. Professional, honest, and efficient service. I felt confident my vehicle was in good hands and would highly recommend them

My tire was getting flat and I called close to closing to see if I could bring my car in later this week to get plugged. Frank's was SO accommodating, and said they were booked the rest of the week but could try to fix the issue right before closing tonight-- and they did exactly that! Super efficient, so pleasant, and at a fair price. Thank you!!

Took my beloved 2018 Forester in for 60K maintenance, based on lots of recommendations from the Waltham Residents Facebook group. I got great service at a Very Fair price, including brakes that needed changing. They were communicative, efficient, patient, and just nice. Will be going here again.

"Does anyone know an honest mechanic" is kind of a cliche question on every local FB neighborhood group. Since most of us don't know much about cars, we want to trust that a mechanic is going to be fair, honest and not take advantage of us. ... So, with that in mind, I give 4+ STARS to Frank's Auto Repair for the service I recieved from Paul in March, 2022. A weird electrical issue caused our 2009 Corolla to stop running when idling and Paul went above and beyond to find the issue. It was a riddle with wiring issues from a previous owner, an alternator that had recently been replaced and some other factors that made it more difficult to diagnose. But Paul kept at it and kept me informed every day with calls and text messages or promptly returned my calls. He was fair about the time it took and - MOST IMPORTANTLY - he found and fixed the issue. The car was going to a family member who's a new driver and Paul recommended some additional service for safety - like brakes and a transmission line (see pic Paul texted of the brakes w metal-on-metal) - and explained why they were worth considering. No hard sell, just reasonable explanations in terms I could understand. I always felt like

Frank's Auto Repair and Tire Center did a FANTASTIC job on my brakes. We shopped around several places before we decided to come here. They took the time to assess my vehicle and even made me aware of another issue (and offered an affordable solution) that I had with my vehicle that I had previously noticed but was not sure of what was wrong. Great customer service and great AFFORDABLE prices. Not to mention a quick (but not rushed) turn around time. Excellent attention to detail. They were also very accommodating on very short notice. If you are debating where to go to get your car fixed, give Frank a call, you will NOT be disappointed!!
